Caroline’s practice focuses on affordable housing and community development real estate transactions. 

Before joining Nolan Sheehan Patten, Caroline worked as a staff attorney at Community Action Program Legal Services, Inc. (CAPLAW), the national legal expert for the Community Action network of anti-poverty organizations. At CAPLAW, Caroline advised Community Action Agencies on compliance with grant law, tax-exempt organizations law, governance issues, federal employment laws, and contractual matters. Prior to her time at CAPLAW, Caroline was an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston, where she worked within the finance practice on leveraged acquisitions and debt refinancing transactions.
